These days, there are tons of vegan fairs and festivals around, some of them featuring live music. But these events are mostly centred around vegan food and products. Now, the UK is finally getting an all-vegan music festival.
Green Heart Events is a new company organising both public and private eco-friendly events. Its four-strong team has created Green Heart Vegan Music Festival, planned to be an annual event.
The festival will take place for the first time from June 22nd-24th 2018. The venue is Green Valley Arts in Cwm Twrch Uchaf, South Wales, a beautiful location complete with woodland and a stream. Better still, the venue is solar-powered – fitting for an event with veganism and the environment at its core.
There will be two stages packed with incredible music, featuring artists such as Mobius Loop, Eleri Angharad, and Jazzy Heath. There will also be a variety of interesting talks and workshops, along with a kids’ area.
Naturally, the festival will also feature a bar with all-vegan drinks – alcoholic and otherwise! And food vendors will serve vegan hot dogs, burgers and much more.
I adore music festivals, so I’m really excited about this event. Having previously been served non-vegan food whilst volunteering at a festival, I am in love with the idea of an all-vegan event where there is no chance of that happening!
On its website, Green Heart Events emphasises the importance of community at the event. I think that’s really important. As vegans, we all need to support each other so we don’t end up feeling like social outcasts. It’s amazing to go to an event where animal products are not being served and everyone is on the same page.
Green Heart Events is offering an early-bird discount for those who buy their tickets more than 60 days before the event. Currently, adult tickets are £40, or £50 with camping. Under-12s get in cheaper. Be quick if you want to take advantage of this discount! You can get your tickets here.
I am an affiliate for Green Heart Events, which means I will receive a small commission if you buy your tickets through my links. This does not affect the price for you, and it helps to support the work that I do. 🙂
